The form says “sent”. Where is the message?

A success message only confirms what the interface displayed. It does not prove that a submission was stored, accepted by an email provider or received in the right inbox. Check those points separately.

Start with one labelled submission. Record the time, device and message, then find the same enquiry in the inbox or CRM. If it is missing, you have a specific case to trace instead of a vague report that the form is broken.

One test someone else can repeat.

Start with the visitor’s journey, not a list of tools. Choose the guide’s path for your access level: website only, or access to the inbox, CRM and backend as well.

  • Send a test with a recognisable label.
  • Compare the on-screen message with what arrived.
  • Record the evidence and next action in the worksheet.
